Located in the prestigious Statenkwartier district, this apartment was redesigned for a young professional relocating to the Netherlands, a home that needed to work for remote work, hosting and daily rituals within a compact footprint.

The concept draws subtle inspiration from the Bugatti Divo, not its prestige, but its disciplined geometry, fluid lines and engineered clarity. These qualities are translated into an interior that balances feminine softness with architectural precision across 55m².

The original layout felt cramped and disconnected. The redesign introduced intelligent zoning, clear sightlines and integrated storage, custom joinery, concealed technology and architectural detailing that allow each function to disappear seamlessly into the space. Lighting, wiring and all installations were planned from the outset, not retrofitted, preserving the visual calm and spatial flow the project demanded. The full scope, from spatial concept through budget management, procurement, supervision and completion, was delivered by EMdot Studio.

Warm woods, honed stone, refined mouldings and subtle brass accents create a restrained palette designed for longevity, tactile comfort and quiet elegance. Despite its compact scale, the apartment behaves like a much larger home, composed, adaptable, quietly sophisticated.
